Yesterday when using my computer the desktop disappeared then my computer restarted and is now in a endless loop of restarts with a brief show of the above pop up. This is a clean install on a WD 800gb green HDD. I can run my computer on my old install with no problems. My question is how can I stop this endless restart and fix the HDD. The HDD is clean of all infections and I have full access to it via my old install. I have performed a repair install, run chkdsk, and tried last known good configuration but to no avail. I did not have hibernate on and have never used it.XP sp3 fully up to date, Phenom XII, MSI770-C45, 4GB memory, ATI HD 5670 1GB Corsair 550W PSU all less than 12 months old.If you think my answers are helpful please vote and mark as possible answer.
